South Koreans could not look any more comfortable in this U.S. Women’s Open if it were played in Seoul.
Yesterday was a lot easier to cover than Thursday’s U.S. Women’s open. Suzann Pettersen got out front at -5 in the morning and the afternoon’s golfers didn’t offer up much of a challenge. Every time someone looked like they were going to make a run for the lead, we would run out to shoot a few frames just to have them rack up a bogy.
Yesterday was one of the hottest days on record in Wisconsin and for the third time in my life, I found myself throwing up and about to pass out.
For this shoot I tried something new. I decided to use one of my two new twin 1200-watt HMI movie lights as my main light and then I used two two-foot Kino Flo lights to strip either side of the subjects face. By using continuous lighting I was able to see the light in real time which was so much more fun than shooting with electronic flash and imagining what the light would look like when the strobes fired.
I just found a post on Comedy central suggesting their readers should come up with a caption for my photo of President Obama and Luxembourg PM Jean-Claude Juncker.
