Not long ago, I had the privilege of shooting Bryan and Avery’s same-sex wedding. However, they called their union a cereversary because it coincided with their ten year anniversary.

Thursday I started filming a music video for ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œI Will.ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â Needless to say, I was very excited as production began and sequences started coming together.
I just finished shooting a public service video to promote Positively Aware Magazine’s photo essay project called, A Day with HIV in America.
It’s hard to believe that it was seven years ago today that I photographed a protest for marriage equality in Chicago. It seemed like a place as liberal as Illinois would have civil unions in no time at all, but it took until June 2011 for us to have these rights.
