I love creating videos that showcase manufacturing. Visually speaking, the movement of machines creates an elegant ballet that looks great on film. Ripon Athletic, an American apparel manufacturer in Berlin, Wisconsin hired myself, Akin Girav and Adam L. McMath to produce a 40 plus minute documentary covering the history of the nearly 100 year-old company and each step of the production process.
I directed this music video for singer Caleb Minter. The Atlanta pop and R&B artist came to Chicago and we shot the video on location and in my south loop Chicago studio.
Promotional video: Earlier this month, I worked with Terry’s Toffee to create a promotional video for their business showcasing their award-winning handcrafted confections. I love helping companies and other creative people tell their stories, especially when my clients are so passionate about their products and services.
My whole career as a Chicago videographer has focused on telling stories. For some time I have wanted to do a corporate video project that showcased another craftsman and their love for their life’s passion. This is that story.
The more I explore new topics with my partner-in-crime Akin Girav the more I fall in love all over again with being a visual artist.
So far the response from our latest video has been great, mostly thanks to the great model we were able to work with, Linda W, represented by Ford Models.
