“Have you ever been to jail before?” a Cook County Sheriff’s employee asked me as we began our journey into the jail.
“I’ve been in a correctional institution four times, but this is only my second time in a county jail!” I responded. I know you’re wondering…. no I wasn’t incarcerated!

The video I directed for Marshall Titus’ “I will” is continuing to gain traction and its continuing to move people. This week it was featured on Black Gay Men’s Blog. I was reminded why I made this video: to make the world a more tolerant and accepting place for everyone.
Since debuting in September, 2011, Marshall Titus and John Gress’ groundbreaking “I Will” music video has racked up more than 9,000 YouTube hits, sparked a dialogue about HIV acceptance and ruffled more than a few feathers.
Our “I Will†music video has continued to garner rave reviews and attention from people in all walks of life. The nearly full capacity crowd cheered on Titus as his voice soared and the live television audience was almost certainly inspired by his inspirational words.
