Swimming weather

I got hired today to take some photos of Chicago stuck in our seasonal deep freeze. For my friends in the west, its been around 10-degrees, which I am sure seems frightening to you. To my friends in the Midwest, its just another day in Paradise 😉

The image above is my favorite from today. I didn’t see this image at first as I was drawn to the juxtaposition of the iced over ladder and the city skyline. While I look confused at the footprints headed towards the water, I noticed the reflection.

Covering A-Rod And A Little Baseball In Between

For the last three days I have been covering Alex Rodriguez and the Yankkees White Sox games. Covering every move while he was at bat or about to be at bat led to some odd moments. Like last night, when A-Rod was on deck and Ichiro Suzuki was at bat. Normally I would just be shooting Suzuki, but instead I had to keep an eye on Rodriquez hoping he would pass by a guy with a “Free A-Rod” shirt, in between each of the Japanese stars swings.
