This weekend I photographed the Chicago Marathon for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago’s Team to End AIDS (T2). It was a fun experience finding just over 130 runners in a sea of 45,000. At first I thought it was going to be a difficult task, but thanks to the unique design of their jersey, it wasn’t that hard after all.
Armando Ramirez is a longtime participant in AIDS Run & Walk Chicago. Last year, his run represented a milestone: 10 years of living with HIV.
Show your support for Armando and the estimated 23,000 Chicagoans living with HIV/AIDS by joining Team Armando. Register for a 5K run, 10k run or 5k walk at aidsrunwalk.org.
I’m so glad that I can finally share these images with you now that the ad campaign has been released!
At the end of winter, on a day when the temperature didn’t reach 10 degrees, I needed to create an ad campaign to promote an organization that competes in summertime athletic events to raise money for charity. Even though it was sunny on the day of our shoot, if I dared take the athletes on location, in no time at all it would have resulted in frostbite and frozen pained expressions.
A video I shot with StoryViewLLC showcasing the International Association of Business Communicators’ (IABC) mentor program was just released.
Recording artist Megan’s The Heartbreak Remedy is now on itunes. I must say, its kind of fun seeing your image as the album artwork!
