Illinois LGBT Wedding Photographer: Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ & Germania Place, were the perfect backdrops for the LGBT wedding of two amazing people, Louis & Bob. Though we only met once before the wedding because they live in Champaign, we had a great rapport which led to making some great photos. I love the look of the old Chicago, Illinois church and the warm tones of the reception space.

Last week I updated my website to include a new wedding section, with over a hundred new photos of brides and grooms tying the knot.
The weddings I had the privilege to witness over the summer covered a range of emotions and locations. There were great moments and particularly memorable were Pete & Mike’s Lake Michigan reception and this moment below with Bob & Louis right after their ceremony.

The blazing sunlight shining through the stained glass windows of the church as well as the late afternoon sun skimming off of the gentle swells of Lake Michigan helped to make for a beautiful set of images showcasing their momentous day.
