Come along as I give a tour of my new studio! Including a lot of the gear I have in the space!
John Gress created Chicago Beauty Photography and Videography for a digital marketing campaign for SA Style Studio. The project consisted of step-by-step video tutorials and portraits which were used to promote their website coordinating hair, makeup and fashion styling for model and everyday people.
In today’s video I will show you how I retouched this beauty image in Photoshop. I will liquefy, clone and heal. Then I will smooth the skin and dodge and burn with Infinite Tools plugins. And Then Finally I will fix her hair color and cleanup the seamless background.
So I sat down with professional photographer and lighting expert Jeff Carpenter (of Ready Light Media fame), to go over 5 images from multiple genres (submitted by their makers) to give suggestions on how the photos could be improved.
There are two main approaches you can take in the studio, or on location. And which lane you choose will have a huge impact on the outcome of your images. You could choose to emulate window light, or you could choose to simulate sunlight.
