I’m really excited to share this photo with all of you! For some time I have been wanting to make an image like this, but I didnt have a client who needed one, or a project that came up where I felt like it would be a good fit.

To show the energy of Sway Chicago’s singers, from left to right, Janvier Jones, Patricia Ernzen, Marcus Matteo and Steve Biossat, I captured them each individually in studio, getting them to really turn up their expressions. Then I looked through my catalog of images until I found the right one: an image of a ballroom with different colored lights and reflections on the floor. Cutting out the talent and combining the image was the easy part. The only real adjustment I had to make was adding a reddish yellow tone to the signers so they could match the scene.

You can see SWAY, a private party band, perform in a rare public performance at the Drake Hotel in Chicago on Friday March 14th at 9pm, no advance tickets or cover required.
