Technology That Transforms Life (and Mutual Funds’ Returns)

The New York Times published a story this morning, which included one of my photos, about mutual fund managers. I also shot this image on the same assignment. I was blown away at the opulence of their offices, located just off of Chicago’s Magnificent mile in a 100-plus year old antique filled mansion. I knew right away when I saw the French room that this is where I had to shoot their portrait.

Manufacturing Policy

While doing photojournalism shoots were once common place, I’ve been focusing on other things. However, today was a fun foray back into journalism, covering a visit to Chicago by Fed Chair Janet Yellen.

Thankfully the press advance orchestrated this welding photo-op while we were touring a manufacturing community college classroom, because the overwhelming large amount of peopling walking around with her blocked us from making images that showed the machinery.
