Chicago Commercial Photographer: A few months ago I took two trips to create portraits of assisted living residents for Enlivant, a firm which operates communities in 18 states. The images are currently displayed all over their corporate headquarters, in every office, conference room and hallway.
I love to meet new people, so getting the opportunity to talk with men and women who’s lives have spanned 10 decades was a great experience. On this trip to Indiana, I met my first 100-year-old woman, a 98-year-old man and the lively 91-year-old Rosemary, seen above and below.
Since 1981, when Enlivant opened their first community, they’ve delivered a pioneering approach to assisted living designed to give residents a supportive, stimulating assisted living environment where they will thrive in mind, body, and spirit.
