The weekend was full of excitement as we shot two projects to help two Chicago area AIDS Charities raise money through athletic events.
Saturday afternoon, with the help of producer Chengetayi Chando, we filmed interviews for an upcoming commercial to promote the Ride for Aids Chicago.
The charity ride takes riders from Chicago to the Wisconsin countryside and back over the course of two days and raised over $700,000.
On Saturday morning I shot sports lifestyle print ads for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago‘s Aids Run Walk.
The images were similar to last years ads, but a little different.
It was really exciting to see our logo in the sponsor section on the back of everyone’s shirt, as you can see below.
The 5K run, 10K run and 5K walk featured more than 4,500 Chicago-area residents and the event raised $400,000 for the AFC and 35 other Chicago-area organizations that provide life-saving services for people living with HIV/AIDS.
