For the last three days I have been covering Alex Rodriguez and the Yankkees White Sox games. Covering every move while he was at bat or about to be at bat led to some odd moments. Like last night, when A-Rod was on deck and Ichiro Suzuki was at bat. Normally I would just be shooting Suzuki, but instead I had to keep an eye on Rodriquez hoping he would pass by a guy with a “Free A-Rod” shirt, in between each of the Japanese stars swings.
It was fun to cover a game and not have to worry about any one other than one guy. In addition, half the media I saw at the game were national network crews who oddly I usually get to see when I am out of town.
Ever since May when I shot this campaign for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago, I have been waiting with great anticipation for the day to come when I could share it with you! Good thing for me the sports lifestyle ads, designed by the talented graphic designer Dan Paterno started running this week! Soon you’ll see them on Buses, on the web and in magazines.
Here’s a tease from a great campaign I got to work on this summer. Ill have more to share next month!
Food photography used to not be my thing. After shooting several restaurant review photos, I leaned how much fun it can be to make colorful compositions out of bite sized morsels and plates of picturesque protein.
