]]> I had the pleasure last night of shooting a college team that is very familiar to me – the University of Kansas Jayhawks. My first job after college was in Topeka Kansas and I covered a lot of the university’s games…. I wondered then and I still wonder now – why do they call it KU? Is everyone in Kansas dyslexic or just backwards?

ST. LOUIS – Kansas couldn’t shoot straight. Couldn’t buy a three-pointer. And couldn’t shake 11th-seeded North Carolina State.

Another night, another test of will for the Jayhawks.

Five nights after struggling to beat Purdue, the Midwest Region’s second-seeded team pulled out a 60-57 victory over North Carolina State Sunday.
