Positively Aware magazine just released the trailer to a video my team volunteered to produce in order to help publicize the second annual A Day with HIV in America. The national campaign features an online photo essay project focused on destigmatizing and demystifying the virus. Whether you’re negative or positive, we are all affected by HIV.
On June 9 2004 I photographed actress Ashley Judd in Chicago as she was publicizing her new movie De-Lovely, which became one of my favorites.
My colleague Jeff Haynes asked me to be the Lighting Director for the new Joliet Slammers professional baseball teamsÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢ first television commercial. Not only is the commercial about to debut, so will the Slammers on their first opening day May 19th, 2011.

About a year ago, I purchased my first cameras that shoot both still photographs and HD video. I now find video to be a liberating medium that will provide me with one more avenue for expression. To that end, I have decided to add a lot of video specific gear to my line-up, including this shoulder mounted camera rig that arrived Saturday and these professional audio accessories that arrived today.
