Rolfe has finishing kick

Coach Frank Klopas called the goals “world class,” but forward Chris Rolfe was more pleased the Fire delivered on scoring opportunities Saturday night.
Rolfe scored a pair of first-half goals three minutes apart in a 2-1 victory over the Columbus Crew, the Fire’s fourth consecutive victory and seventh in eight games.
“Tonight was hopefully an eye-opener for the whole team,” said Rolfe, who leads the team with eight goals. “It’s going to be tougher now toward the end of the season and the playoffs. You don’t get the same number of chances (to score), so you have to be good with your finishes.” …Read More
