Sports Lifestyle Advertising Photographer: T2 Campaign

I’m so glad that I can finally share these images with you now that the ad campaign has been released!

At the end of winter, on a day when the temperature didn’t reach 10 degrees, I needed to create an ad campaign to promote an organization that competes in summertime athletic events to raise money for charity. Even though it was sunny on the day of our shoot, if I dared take the athletes on location, in no time at all it would have resulted in frostbite and frozen pained expressions.

Technology That Transforms Life (and Mutual Funds’ Returns)

The New York Times published a story this morning, which included one of my photos, about mutual fund managers. I also shot this image on the same assignment. I was blown away at the opulence of their offices, located just off of Chicago’s Magnificent mile in a 100-plus year old antique filled mansion. I knew right away when I saw the French room that this is where I had to shoot their portrait.

Manufacturing Policy

While doing photojournalism shoots were once common place, I’ve been focusing on other things. However, today was a fun foray back into journalism, covering a visit to Chicago by Fed Chair Janet Yellen.

Thankfully the press advance orchestrated this welding photo-op while we were touring a manufacturing community college classroom, because the overwhelming large amount of peopling walking around with her blocked us from making images that showed the machinery.

Chilean born Winemaker Andres Basso shares what gets him out of bed every morning in a four minute documentary short about the wine making process at Lynfred Winery in Roselle, Illinois.
